RSU 3 was used during recent cold snap as warming/serving vehicle. Had issues with unit’s heating system and generator. Since most firefighters were not interested in a warm-up despite negative wind chills, it was decided to utilize RSU 3 as a second alarm vehicle or on incidents when an extended “on-scene” time is anticipated and crews will be rotating in and out.

RSU 2 is waiting for some warmer weather and funds to complete outfitting.
